I was never a huge fan of PAMs. In fact I'm still not a fan of most of them. But when I saw the PAM 213, something about it caught my eye. Don't know what it is, but something about it is simply beautiful, and now that I have one I find myself wearing it a hell of a lot more often than I thought I would. Maybe even enough to make my UN jealous.

But after having worn it every other day for about two weeks now, I must say that this watch is very fragile! Already there are scuffs on the brushed stainless case, three pencil-tip nicks in the polished bezel, signs of wear on the clasp, and a minor scuff on the glass face. After two weeks! I'll have to start wearing this piece only on occasion.

Anyways, I bought this watch because I want to do a modding project with it. Here's what I want done:

Movement Service / Oiling

Vacuum Treatment ( to ensure water resistance, and to get rid of that pesky piece of hair that has somehow found its way onto the dial )

Polishing of the dial ( I'd like for it to be a deeper black, and it has some sort of scuzz on it in one area )

Relume with color change to red

Paint the chronograph hands red ( there are two of them, though they appear to be fixed to one another since it is not a real Rattrapante )

Polishing of the case ( maybe get rid of the light damage that's already been done )

Fixing the scuff in the glass face ( can this be polished out? Also the real watch has sapphire which is supposed to stand up to any and all abuse, is there a way to get a sapphire? )

Can someone direct me to a modder on the forum who's capable of all these things?

By the way I bought the watch from Hont Wu and am very satisfied with his service, punctuality and expertise.

After I have these mods done I'm going to commission Gunny for a strap.
