From the pics I have seen from fellow members, the position of the cyclops seems to vary a lot. Also the numbers on the bezel appear to be glued on since the spacing between the numbers vary a lot as well.

Atm there is no TD that offers the version with the recessed subdials that was available till 2013 or 2014. The version that is available now has pretty flat subdials but depending on the light they look recessed too (which I wanted to show with my pic above).
I doubt that there will be a version with a "better" dial in the near future...maybe never...if one really likes the look and feel of the 187...don't let the subdials bother you...this watch is way more than just subdials
