New Platinum plated 6497-2 bridges not engraved as stated

i have made a few posts about the new platinum plated 6497-2 movements few weeks back today i only realy had a good check on the engravings, and guess what? the bridges have not been engraved with a micro cnc as stated, i did asked about this when buying 2 movements and was told they were engraved, although they are still very nice movements the bridges are only painted as i put solvent on one of my bridges to test if they were engraved as they did look it even under my 10X loupe anyway the solvent has removed the paint to reveal no engraved bridge.

i was told by kuvarsitwatch they were done with micro cnc shame they lied as this not doing any favours with them in the process of building some new pams.

Should this be expected from the other suppliers of these new 6497-2 movements also?
I have one of the Kuvarsit movements at home and another coming from Sead. I will compare them when I have them both. The other is going into my 177 and the other will be for sale eventually.

I was quite skeptical about the plates being platinum plated, now untill someone actually tests it, I'm going to assume that a lie as well.

dont get me wrong these movements are really really nice and a massive improvement on the old movements used in some of the panerai,s, i just dont get why the manage to engrave the dagger measurement indicators really nice just like genuine but cant engrave the bridges plus it does the seller no favours by lieing about it better off with the truth as nothing beats honesty.

also can we get the message across to everyone that the movements that are now supplied in the new updated panerai watchs ie. platinum bridges are NOT the same movements, as ones supplied in the panerai,s are 6497-1 movements and these are 6497-2 and much better quality.

I as well mentioned early on that mine wasnt engraved, but people called shananagans on that and swore that it was. Thank you for using solvent on yours and tacking pics for the good of the community. Also for what its worth, mine wasnt from Kuvarsit, but thats all I'll say on that. I'm sure you can figure it out yourselves.

I got three of this movement from Kuvarsit yesterday and must say look VERY nice and the finish on the bridges.

I asked Kuvarsit if the "OFFICINE PANERAI" was engraved he said ALL his movements is the SAME.

And Sead says his movements are engraved but I do think that all those movements ( 6497-2 21600 bph) comes from the same factory or am I wrong??

Bur one positive thing with that the text is painted is that You can use a separate PANERAI sticker and place it up side down for all destro movements!

I think that buying from Kuvarsit was GREAT and he answered all my questions!

+1 yes kuvarsit was very good overall and these movements are still great looking and arnt really a bad price for what they are

Positive they are one in the same. I wish the perlage on the bottom plate was better but over all its a nice movement.

Yeap,
Got the new movement from Sead today and I can confirm that they are 100% alike.
Infact, can't tell which is which anymore because I didn't mark them.
Sorry for the quality of the picture, I don't have a camera near at the moment..

does this look like one of those? Since the letters are not engraved from what this thread said, how IS the "paint" job then? Durable underneath the caseback?
