New Panerai models for 2009 just released

Some very nice models for 2009. A couple of very nice Ferrai models that will certainly sell for once at an AD. Info is on all of the Panerai boards.

Some real nice ones... I like the new PAM 305 & 320.... and they seem really easily to be replicated. I like the new style without cyclos!!!

Wow, 2009 seems to be the year of the 1950 cases, eh? Damn near every new Luminor model introduced is using the 1950 style case....

EDIT -- Hmph those new watches are using the new in-house 3 day auto movment (P.9000). Crap, I got all excited for nothing. I want a base dial watch powered by the 8-day hand cranker!!!!

I do love the fact that they are using the new 8 day handwind movement in some watches that don't have a zillion complications, though!

Bring on the 44mm, 1950 style case base dial with the 8 day movement!!!! :twisted:

The original was aluminum and steel. So it wasn't all that heavy. IMO, it's one of the best looking PAM's ever made.

The only thing bad about the new 1950 cases with the new movement is that they wont have the big gorgeous domed crystal anymore. I really love the 212 and 213. The new dlc version is insanely gorgeous as well.

i am a big guy. wearing a gen GLYCINE F 104, which is 51mm, is already BIG on my wrist.

If it's a watch to wear, at 60mm I don't care if it has 15 tourbillions or 60J, I don't care for it... you gotta have wrists the size of an adult male ankle to pull it off... unless you own a Ford Fiesta with Lambo doors, a giant spoiler, and a license plate that reads "2KOOL4U"... in which case you can pull off anything! :wink:

It's not really all that big. Don't get me wrong, it's not an Explorer 1 by any means. But it's not so huge to be gaudy (at least imo).
