New Panerai Green Dials

So I read an article that panerai just released three new watches with a new color scheme, a dark green dial with a titanium. Case. They look incredible! Just out of curiosity I was wondering how long it takes for a new watch to be replicated? Is there a possibility this could be done by one of the factories? I'm thinking that the cases are already made and that they would just have to produce the new dial but I'm new to the rep world and could be completely off. The movement seems like it would be very complicated and a replica would not be able to have all the functionality. Any way here's a picture of the new watches, I really like the luminor GMT power reserve.

They look really good,
Panerai are using all different coloured dials to their advantage at the moment
But tbh they could have a dog shit brown colour & it would still look good enough for us to buy------reps of course that is[emoji6]

I really like these green dials, make them look more rugged, closer to those rugged dive watches Pams were meant to be. Would probably look amazing with a nice aged green strap.

Agreed. I love the dials on the Bronzos, but the case just isn't for me. I've been hoping Panerai would use the green dials for the popular models and am stoked to see these. I am chomping at the bit to pick up the rep versions as soon as they become available! A nice aged green canvas strap will look fantastic.

got some doubts on the chances of a decent rep of the luminor on the left, but the two radiomirs are quite feasible, let's hope the DW is not completely messed

Yeah the luminor would be hard to reproduce but I would buy a fantasy model that's just a sec sub dial at 9 with that color dial and a titanium case. I know that's probably not gonna happen but a man can dream.

The Luminor model is beautiful, but it has too many complications.

Ive seen the gen's in the "flesh" and they do look awesome. I hope the factories get the green right, if and when it happens

Im going to say yes, it is different, but it could be a few things that make me think that. The contrast of the bronze of the 382 against the dial looks different versus the titanium metal finish and the green and the effect of the sandwich dial as well. Plus I was standing outside the flagship store in Florence and I think I was nervous wearing a rep, thinking the Panarai police would swoop. crazy thoughts aren't they. Watches looked great but I couldn't help but think at the time all they have done is use the same watches with a different colour scheme.

I see, in that case, there may be a perception difference because you had to view the watches not in the "metal" but through at least one sheet of glass (might be two), which may or may not impart a visual distortion on how the watch actually looks without the benefit of the presence of the glass window.

That's the trick of the trade right there [emoji6]

Complications like what ?

Sent from the RWI App

A complication is any function on the watch other than the hours, minutes and seconds hands. So for the PAM737, they would be the chrono (and it is not the common simple two button chrono, but a monopulsante, or a single button chronograph), power reserve, the AM/PM indicator and the GMT hand.
