New Pam111J owner!

A word of warning: I wasn't into Panerais either when I joined RWI. Let me be reeeeeealy honest here: I'd never heard of a Panerai and thought I'd end up with a rep Rolex or something--which was about the only 'high end' watch I'd heard of. In the end, and after much reading here, I bought my first rep: a DSN 112. I now have five Panerais and the only other watches that really seem to hold my interest these days are Bell & Ross 03-92s. Now that you have one, you should do one of two things: 1) quit RWI; or 2) get a drawer ready for many more PAMs. Your new baby is beautiful. I don't have a 111J but am sure tempted--and you aren't helping any

thanks guys! Got it from puretime for a little less than $200 i think. So far I like it, but not crazy about it yet...I think this one PAM will keep me satisfied, at least i hope!

lume is great on these, MUUCH better than standard rep lume.

The hour and minute hands are not as bright as the rest, so it is uneven. The lume on the markers are pretty good though...

Less of a cutput, but the 111j case is regarded to be the best.

The best combination would be a 111j case, h factory crystal, j CG,J dial, H blackplate, and a j movement.

Just a small comment regarding the h-factory backplate :

The H-factory backplate has TO THICK lume attached to it so it is almost no DEPTH in the cutsouts for the indexes.

So a better and more correct looking dial is to first remove the exsising lume on the 111J dial and then relume it with the right lume BUT not as thick as the H-factory ones!

But the lume IS stronger on the H-factory sandwichdials than on the genuine ones but it is easy to see that the lume on the backeplate IS to thick.

I´ve just ordered my 111J to.
I originally ordered the 177, but since I´ve been waiting for it since january I decided to go for something that´s in stock.
As it looks I woun´t be disappointed...
I allready have a brown Gunny deployant-strap waiting for it!

you are saying that everything is better on the 111J than on the 318L unless crystal and backplate..... so... why is the 318 considered a "super rep" and a "best seller" and the 111J isn't??

The more I know about pam reps more lost I am...
