with that aside, this watch is amazing. it's probably... no, it is the most accurate
pam rep that's ever been produced if you ask me (telling via pictures), and should
be picked up asap by all, lol. I've already asked Lay to get me one, hope he can.
very few flaws, and no modding needs to be done, it's a fantastic deal.

Dont mean to hijack the thread but curious as to why Josh is considered cartel and not trusted here? I have a purchase inbound from him and one from Lay and so far the experience has been great on both. I guess time will tell when I have both watches in hand.

Josh is the cartel, there's no doubt. Josh and Andrew are the basis of the cartel.
I guess Angus and Connie are part of the clique too, maybe Mary too.

They basically all offer the same watches, same/similar prices/service.
They tend to be the most expensive of all the dealers, but at the same time they hold
the most stock, have the most available, and probably sell the most. They can tend
to get watches that others can't due to their stocking of the popular ones.

what makes them bad is their sometimes overly inflated prices, they used to not offer
qc at all, now they do but they use it against the customer often. if you ask me,
the cartel is a last ditch effort, if no other dealers can get you want you want, then
you go to them and just hope it works out okay, and be confident you're overpaying.

Hmmm... I guess it depends on which watch. Josh was cheaper than Lay for the watch I ordered. Not by much but cheaper. He also gave me the option to get the gold vs. nickel plated movement. From what I understand they are both good quality. Maybe I read a post wrong... :thinking:

crystal, or be a different version, and the price will reflect that. in many cases Lay
will offer the identical watch for $50 less than Josh, which is a huge amount in this
hobby really. I've yet to personally see Josh offer an identical watch for less.

Here you go... it is just a $10 difference... I couldn't find any real difference in the watches besides the thickness (.5 mm) which I am guessing isn't really noticeable or just a minor calibration difference... what do you think?

I think you're right on that one. good call. every rule must have exceptions I suppose.

I'm guessing it's the same watch and the .5mm thing is just one guy probably
writing what the factory did and one guy actually measuring it.

Watch looks pretty damn good.

The #1 exciting thing about this is the SUPERLUMINOVA!!!!!!

The watch itself is fugly. Looks like a nice copy. Case a little thicker because of movement but unavoidable. Looks like they even got the lugs right this time.
It's super fugly but maybe the best watch rep ever.

Hope the popular models are release or even rereleased with better lume.
Of course, I still await the 111 rerelease.... with superluminova from factory please.

I love the 288 and just might have to pop for this one. Based on the pics it appears to be a REALLY good rep. I'll pass on the $110 gator strap, as I'm not really a fan of gator.

This Pam looks like a very good copy. As far as the cartel stuff, do they have hitmen wiping out the smaller watch dealers in China? Maybe they are keeping the blood filled streets of Guanzhou under wraps in the Chinese press.:thinking:
