New Pam ceramic?

I was flipping through Watch Times Monthly and my son picked up on the new Tuttonero Luminor Ceramica and I'm curious are our dealers moving anywhere closer to ceramics?

Makers don't like ceramic because they cannot made directly these kind of cases, they must outsourcing ceramic cases. Besides ceramic is more problematic for "machining" and threading etc...
They have the technology (or they can get the stuffs) but that is an additional problem for them.

Makers have get the PAM 441 (the same as Tuttonero but with leather strap) but they have made it of SS DLC coated (very well and nice but no real ceramic).

Whereas we buy SS DLC coated replicas (myself included) they will not release Ceramic ones. And less Composite.

Just an economic matter mixed with a little of technologic one.

So the solution is to stop buying DLC Pams? Well, that answers the question, we'll never see a ceramic version.

I love the Pam386, but the one thing thst puts me off buying the rep, is the DLC. Be terrified to mark it. Superb looking watch too. Would love to see a rep in the flesh to see how robust the coating would be in real life.

Why is Sead asking which model I'm thinking I may want? Are they repping ceramics and we just don't have access to them?
