New Pam 448 with P.3000 Super Clone movement!!!

this is the second watch with the P.3000 Super Clone movement (the first was the 372)

and the Cali dial is something that we have not seen before in modern pams , only in homages...

This movement really is great. I'm consistently getting right under 8 days on a single wind with my 372. While I like the 448, I wish I could purchase the movement separately for a vintage cali build......

wonder if 425 is coming too, its more believable watch to wear . 448 is very exp more than 14 k, where as 425 is 6.5k

it is a very nice watch. But something about the dial is not doing it for me. I'm very happy this(these) watch(es) are coming out, will buy one for sure.

I see your point..

It's a simple dial with no "panerai" mark or stamp on it...
it looks more like a homage watch rather than a typical pam one..

Angus wrote that the maker bought a gen 424 in order to make the 448 so the chances are that we are gonna see a 424 too (more busy dial...pam logo and date)

The 424 is more unlikely, as it would require a date movement- a 7750. The 7750 is much too thick and inaccurate for the 424.

They should rep the 373 as well. I wanted to custom build it with sc movement but at this point I'd just wait for possible release soon.

i read on this link: http://paneraiworld.blogspot.com.au/2014/06/radiomir-panerai-pam-424-updated-date.html?m=1 and apparently panerai has announced it's removing the date from the new batches of 424? it's reflected on the officine panerai website as well. if that's really the case then maybe it is possible to make a 424 using the SC movement

whaaaaat?! I've got the date one, I guess it's time to 'upgrade'!

this is so surprising to me, as most of Panerai's range is super consistent. I hope they at least change the number or add a suffix...

Dial layout accuracy seems really good (few differences and few noticeable)
Movement- we know already the Clone P.3000. No more comments needed
VINTAGE and PAM 0448 are engraved in the GEN
Rep has confirmed L SWISS L
Case edges and corners are sharp enough indeed gen has them a bit rounded (even more than this rep. No noticeable in practice, just under macro lens)
We will wait for more comments, reviews and evaluation

As a first evaluation, pending more info, maybe First Class rep medium level or even high level if lume application and colour are confirmed as accurate.
