so i received both of these in the mail this week. what do you guys think? The super clone def takes the cake for the back side but what about letter and number font on the dial? The super clone has bigger lighter numbers and text as the H fac has skinnier darker numbers and darker text as well as different hands..
what are your opinions on closer to gen on the front side of these two watches?

Im not sure what factory makes the superclone but its on the right hand side and the H fac is on the left.

The 'superclone' was made by Angus (PureTime) in the summer, I bet they have installed the new movement in the stock of old dials/hands/cases, whatsoever. I'm not a fan of it, the H-factory and Noob looks better on the face IMHO. There definitely will be newer versions, KW should be in for it as well I guess, so expect some serious reps hitting the market in 2014!

I'd see if I could throw the superclone into the H Factory if I were you and had some free time, which none of them I am/have apparently... :)

I own the Angus version and it's a remarkably we'll made watch. I never liked the thin numbers and dirty appearance of the H factory watch. In fact I can say I've never owned a h factory Pam that I really liked. Just not as well made or as high in quality as other factories. I own over 16 high end rep Pam's and of those three are H factory,,,,,they are all at the bottom of my list.

So should I swap the movements and put the super clone in the H factory case or should I switch the dials and put the H factory dial in Angus version with the super clone movement...
would love everyone's opinion...

You will not be able to swap as the hands are totally different on super clone, and I bet the lume won't match if you keep the same hands and transfer a diff dial

What if I re lumed the whole thing after the swap?

I guess if you want to go all the way, then it will resolve the marching issue, my guess though is you will have a hard time finding that faux patina lime formula

You can see below the comparison Clone vs. gen

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=169085

You can see that gen markers and inscriptions are darker and hand are more yellow

We can conclude that H maker is more accurate in colours

Fonts of LUMINOR PANERAI and Depth are better in H maker too, as we have already seen previously in other reviews

But this is not a surprise because, as said in PAM GUIDE, Clone version is based in previous Puretime watches without changes

The better option would be Noob case-set, crystal and dial with clone movement. But we would get the hands problem

Yes, that is currently not possible. Since we're talking only about the front, I've noticed the following:

1. The font on the Superclone seems a bit thicker than the one on the H-Fac.
2. The REG T.M. lettering on the CG on the Superclone is bigger.

Maybe you are roght but i have not seen that in previous watches. Could it be perhaps an optical effect being clone inscriptions lighter ?

Yes and are also bigger than gen as you can see in above mentioned link
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=169085
Therefore H maker is also more accurate in this regard

Thanks mysterio for the input

Just to anybody contemplating a cross-hybrid PAM 372 with earlier models, I asked Toro just out of curiousity, whether the new P.3000 Super clone movement was available individually -- it is, even though for a quite hefty USD 275.00 price.

Well, at least there's an option to those who do not want to contemplate having a bunch of spare parts laying around. It is expensive IMHO.
