I've been following Panerai reps for quite a while and have a Gen 512 myself. Isn't 12 mm thickness almost a breakthrough? The recent PAM 904 has around 14 mm thickness and I can't remember any other 42 mm models that go thinner.

The recent PAM 572 which was released is 45 x 12.4 mm AFAIK. I wonder if any dealer or user can confirm the actual thickness and how they achieved it.

Also it looks like the dial is black, as opposed to the GEN which has a brown dial.
