You don't see a whole lot of these on the boards, it seems like--I think it's a little busy for most hard-core Panerai lovers. I really love their chronographs though, and can't believe how great this watch look in person. Supersexy.

When I first took her out of the package, I wound and wound but it wouldn't tick! After a few good 7750-style love taps, it's been keeping perfect time all day. I've got my fingers crossed.

Mine Not that lucky.. so far late 10minutes per 24hours and it seems the movement is the old A7750 since it has regulating indicator. does your movement has regulating indicator??
Thanks
Dan

I just got one from Joshua and it really is one of the more satisfying acquisitions I've gotten in awhile, every time I look at it on my wrist I just say "damn, that's a beautiful watch".

Wore it to San Francisco (went there for Martin Luther King long weekend holiday) and the friends we went with, every time we were at a restaurant, kept remarking what a gorgeous, unusual watch it is.

No mate mine doesnt have the regulator its the updated version by Andrew. Mind you this is the second watch i had to have off him and it had to be repaired. First one didn't work from the start he sent a second which looked fine but gained 5min an Hr so sent this to get fixed and its come back great. I would also like to say that Andrew was great with every problem and i've got no apprehension about going back to him, which i am when i get paid :D

In a flyback chronograph, you don't need to stop the second hand with the top button before resetting. You can press the lower reset button at any time and it will restart the chronograph. Doing this would be a bad idea in a non-flyback watch.

I personally don't mind one bit that the rep isn't a flyback, and would never in a million years expect it to be. There haven't been too many times when another person has asked me to show them the 'flyback' function...most people don't really even know how to use a regular chronograph properly.

Also--the way to tell the difference between the old and new 7750 is by some kind of regulator--can someone describe what this part is, exactly? I'm not sure which version I have, and I can't find that part singled out in any of the movement reviews.

thanks!
