Nice to see you all here. Great forum. Just ordered one of the CF no date subs from Li. Also having him put on a black rubber strap for me. The ordering process and everything was great. Should arrive in approx 30 days. Hopefully the rest goes well and I'll pickup some more from him... Will post QC here as soon as I get!

Update: QC sent from Lana and it looks great to me. Look forward to getting it... Li is sourcing a rubber strap for me. He also asked for the size of my wrist in CM to determine the band to get and size it correctly. Great service and timings so far.

Jtime's QC pics have such a good background, like you feel like its in the swiss mountains with a 95 year old horologist with a loupe in one eye holding it... quite possibly a mystical elven creature.. anyway. LOVE the watch, do you think a watch like the sub will be too heavy for rubber straps and will rotate on your wrist? my Omega 300 rubber does that, but its better with bracelet. .. and what does 3130 CLEAN mean? is it a new factory called CLEAN ? thanks and have a GREAT day! congrats on the watch, LOOKS AMAZING

Can't fault the watch at all from my view. It looks spotless and as good as it can be! Do share with us some photos once you get the watch and let us know if you have any thoughts or comments about it. Great buy!

I always assumed the TD does a QC for things like that at the factory and refuse the bad ones and then take pics of what TD is okay with for the customer's QC.. is this not how it is done? is it that the TD dont do any QC and just take pics of whatever the factory gives them no matter what? OR is this overlook something rare and uncommon?

I would have assumed that also. The service has been impeccable so far probably slipped through since it's not a regular offering. Li sourced it for me and now getting another one.

Yah I would have also assumed TD does a quick look over fir obvious problems. But we could be all assuming wrongly ... so this is good infor for buyer beware on QC
