New to the boards, you guys have built a fantastic community from what I've seen while researching!

Lots of questions, my research only seems to lead to more variables.

I'm leaning toward a 1950 flyback (love the complications and the 1950 material in general) or something with the date (for practical reasons) like a 312. Which leads to the first question.

What's the difference between a 312 and 320 for example? I don't see anything about the 320 that makes it GMT.

For a flyback I was looking at this specifically (hope the direct link is Ok): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_56&products_id=7219

So, my second set of concerns arises when comparing to the pamguide...the notes say that the 212 and 213 have false flyback and rattrapante movements. The 213 in the link above has a CG whereas the pamguide shows a 213 without, is either accurate? I was under the impression that a flyback is technically a different complication than a rattrapante, no? Would these features work on the replica I posted the link to? Lastly, when aiming for visual accuracy, or movements for that matter, I am lost when it comes to the coding being used. With things like "RU", "SS/RU", "SS/LE" how do I determine what that means to match it to my needs?

Thank you in advance, sorry for the novel!

Let's start with the easy answer:
SS stainless steel
LE leather
RU rubber
RG rose gold
YG yellow gold
And so on.

312 and 320:
320 has one more hand, the GMT hand, used to display a second time zone. The movement has extra gears installed for this complication to work.

Regarding rattrapante/flyback complications, these do not work and the pushers are faux, only normal chrono functions are working.
Both 212 and 213 share the same 1950 44 mm case with crownguard.

Good luck on your search :)

If you are new I would suggest going with a Noob or KW rep. They are both of the best quality and you will really feel you bought a nice watch for your money. Try to stay away from complications until you get your feet wet. More complications=more chance to have issues. KW 359 is one Heck of a watch.

Thank you both, very useful. I'm heartbroken, I found out the same thing regarding the 275 complications! Must pay to play I suppose.

That KW359 is beautiful, thank you much for the recommendation Perry! Is the process to email a dealer and tell them I want a PAM 359 by KW and work it out with them from there? Any versions or latest in the series things I need to ask for?
