New Member - Planning to Buy First Watch (Patek)

Good morning everyone. New member here from USA.

Wanted to say thank you to the community for all the fantastic advice in this forum.

I'm ready to pull the trigger and will be placing my first order for three watches:

• Patek 5712 (PPF Super Clone v2)
• Patek 5167 (3KF Super Clone v2)
• Patek 7118 (3KF Super Clone) for the wife

For the Aquanaut, I will be ordering the black strap/dial (original Patek reference 5167A-001)

Yeah same here, I got the 5167 Singapore Edition and I'm in love with it.

Had plans to order the 5167A-001 till I found out that the dots are not framed so I changed to 5968A - and honestly now the 5968 looks better imo...

Truth be told, I wanted to buy these watches genuine from Patek. Went to the Patek AD in the city I live and they straight up told me it would be close to impossible to get a sports model from them (Nautilus or Aquanaut)... Several year waiting list and would need substantial pre-spend on other items before they even put me on the waiting list (jewelry and buying several less desirable Patek models like the Twenty~4 and Calatrava). The AD actually recommended that I just buy on the grey market.

So before I pay >2x over MSRP, wanted to at least get something close enough on my wrist to try out for a few months and make sure I absolutely love it.

We'll see how it goes and will keep y'all updated.

Most of the information you need to know to start is there. If you're preparing to buy, read the stickies before ordering. When you're finished, you can continue learning by reading the stickies in all remaining sections. If it's stickied, it's important information.

If you intend to sell, read the sales rules and all stickies in the sales section with particular care and make sure you understand each single rule. Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Using the sales section is a privilege, eligibility must be earned, make sure you know and understand how.

Jan 8th, 2024: Emailed Marie with PureTime sales to inquire whether the three watches above were available
Jan 9th, 2024: Received a prompt response back from Marie stating that the watches are available to order and will take 3-4 weeks for QC
Jan 9th, 2024: Thanked Marie for her response and told her I would place an order online for the watches
Jan 9th, 2024: Placed order online, received confirmation email with order details and number, and Marie emailed thanking me for the order and letting me know the billing team would reach out shortly with payment instructions
Jan 10th, 2024: Received an email from Alice with PureTime billing with the payment instructions
Jan 10th, 2024: Completed the payment and emailed the requested transaction confirmation details and information to Alice
Jan 12th, 2024: PureTime confirmed receipt of payment
Feb 2nd, 2024: QC photos received for 1 watch (Nautilus 5712), told the other two watches would take more time
Feb 2nd, 2024: Watch approved, looked great
Feb 5th, 2024: USPS shipping label created
Feb 13th, 2024: Package departed shipping facility
Feb 17th, 2024: Received the first watch in the mail (Nautilus 5712). It is stunning and absolutely beautiful in person. I could not be happier.
Feb 24th, 2024: QC photos received for second watch (Aquanaut), approved
March 11th, 2024: QC photos received for final watch (Ladies Nautilus), approved
March 23rd, 2024: Received remaining two watches in the mail. Both beautiful.

All around great experience and would highly recommend.

Good start! We can read from your comment how much you're satisfied...

Do you regret gens? Hell, the Nautilus and Aquanaut are exactly that kind of Reps in which :

1) the Top Tier rep really are nearly NWBIG
2) the Gen version is really absurdly expensive

So in the end, in a few months or even years... for you these three will become like Gens for you!

Joking? Well, no... I'm a certain sense it is true..
