Hello and welcome. I'm sure you will find this forum interesting :)

If you want a good decent PO i suggest you contact Narikaa. He can hook you up with a good A21j PO.

But again, it depends on where you are located, how good a rep you want it to be and how much you are willing to spend.

Good luck :)

I don't know much about the costom risk in Australia, but i presume they are relatively low, therefor you can order from many of the trusted dealers on this site.

$350 is pretty much. You can get a decent 21j PO for about $100, but you can also aim higher and choose the UPO (Ultimate Planet Ocean) with the Asian ETA 25j, which is a very very nice watch. I think this one is about $225, but ask around the trusted dealers :)

Been reading a lot about this, but would apprec help understanding balancing cost vs. value on the PO or UPO. What I understand so far is that higher cost reps will have sapphire instead of mineral crystal; the 21j movements are cheap/easy to replace but might not be as reliable as an ETA clone that will cost more, but the ETA is more serviceable (correct?); but are there other features that I should take into account as I consider getting a PO or UPO?
Thanks

hi all

thanks so much for the responses - certainly helps me get my head around it all

as for customs, australia is notoriously tight with foodstuffs etc - dont know how this would translate into replicas though

and on that note, how do i contact these trusted dealers? ive been looknig around ive seen a couple members with "trusted dealer" tags like silix and fakemaster - do i just drop them a personal message?

thanks

The UPO is much more accurate regarding details such as He valve, dial and case. It is much more gen like, and yes, it also have sapphire crystal, but so does mine Narikaa PO.

No doubt that I would choose an ETA (clone ETA). It is more reliable and it has 25 jewels and ticks at 8bps (28.800bph) vs. A21j with 6bps (21.600bph). In my eyes, that is the biggest noticeable difference in the movement, unless you open it.

Regarding the trusted dealers, you just go to the trusted dealer section and look around. Most of them have their own web pages, where you can brows different watches. You can also PM them.
Just notice where your watch will be shipped from, that's the most important part due to costom risk.

Hope it helps :)

the 42mm replicamake version has longer hour hands that are typically shorter on other rep models
