New here, thought I'd say hi..

Hey everyone, really amazing community I stumbled across here. From my past experience almost every single forum I come across, was either rather toxic, very unfriendly, or just not welcoming.



I rarely see such friendly communities, where people actually want to help eachother, instead of insulting eachother..

Few things about me would be ok I suppose?

I'm 25, originally from Romania, living in Germany. I'm a car freak and used to be a heavy gamer, that tho has dialed a bit down since I picked up the car hobby -> i also do basically everything myself when it comes to cars, same with computers.

So how I came across this community? Reddit, I was looking into a new hobby, and watches smeemed like an interesting one.. then I saw the prices so I thought I'd start small - budget wise - I've owned the obligatory Casio A168 for 2 years now, legendary piece, unbeatable for the 17 EUR I paid, so a few days ago I decided to look into reps, maybe in the future actual genuine watches.

Most of the information you need to know to start is there. If you're preparing to buy, read the stickies before ordering. When you're finished, you can continue learning by reading the stickies in all remaining sections. If it's stickied, it's important information.

If you intend to sell, read the sales rules and all stickies in the sales section with particular care and make sure you understand each single rule. Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Using the sales section is a privilege, eligibility must be earned, make sure you know and understand how.

For anything else, feel free to reach out to @eBoy or me, we're happy to assist, advise, direct, explain. Don't hesitate.

Thanks for all the additional info, I read trough some of those topics already, but the "first constitution of rwi" seems quite interesting, always like to find out about the background of a community. how it started and so on.
