No other TD has the PAM088 N V2 from H-factory plus there has been no announcement from toro so I would think this is an old H-factory version of the PAM088 N just mis-identified as a V2. From the initial assessment, I don't see any major difference of this so-called V2 version from the current known version case from H-fac, aside from a better placement of the lug holes. The bezel finishing is the same, the fitting of the bezel to the mid-case actually seems worse (the original version had the best fitment but most likely due to the non-standard construction of the case compared to the Noob and KW cases), crown still has the rounded corners like its previous version. All in all, I would not call this an actual V2 but most likely a mistake in labeling unless an actual detailed review of a shipped watch is done.

Thanks mystetrio for the assessment. I was told by toro that the V1 was out of stock and that the new V2 has an upgraded case. I'm guessing they might be re-using parts. Will try to post pics once I've received the watch.

Just a quick update. The new version is an I-series caseback but I noticed it doesn't have the quick release system and instead has the screw in lugs.

Can anyone confirm if the gen I-series follows this?

Yes, the I-series came out with the standard strap change screw-in lugs system. (picture from watchuwant)

If torobravo's website shows an N-series with a quick release system for the V2, so it means the ad is not updated. I don't know why the factories would release an older series over a newer one, but let's see once an actual watch comes out.

H-factory is out of business afaik. You will have a hard time finding a 088.
