Hello:

I have been on a few other forums for a while (RC< RWG, etc) and must say I really like this place!

My collection is humble:

Luminor Panerai Marina Militare
Luminor lefthand "Destro"
Regatta power reserve
Panerai 196 Daylight
Brevet style with lugs not wire
Radiomir w/Davidsen movement and custom dial

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself

Thanks! The only downside I can see is now that I have broadened my horizons to other dealers and collectors, my mail box will be full and my bank account empty

I already pulled the trigger on two new watches from one dealer and a used watch from a fellow board member!

(two submariners -one the green version and an Orange bezel, 42mm Planet Ocean)

And to think I used to think just Seiko divers were cool

If I can find it, I had a whole thread going on how to properly pronounce "Panerai" at either the RWG or RC board. I know "Pugwash" contributed to it and he posts here as well.

I think the consensus was it was "offa-chinay" "pan-ayr-eye"

Not speaking Italian, I have to take their word for it

Sounds more posh then "pana-ray" or "Pana-rye"

ooooooooo, doggie, our dealers are gonna LOVE you! Nice collection you got there. As far as pronunciation goes, I prefer to reply when somebody asks what it is........."It's friggin BIG, ain't it!". If they persist, I follow up with "It's a BIG friggin watch!"
