Perhaps the perfect size for a FF and in Ti to boot. Hope they rep the bracelet! At first, dates @ 4.5 really bothered me which is why i prefered the NO RAD. But I have a Ball with the date in the same location and you get used to it. I

I cannot wait for ZF to make this. Their 45mm iteration was as good aa a gen on the wrist but too big at 45mm. So this one with a 2xAR crystal and a gen strap will be perfection.

I also cannot wait for the gen gold price to drop. I am seriously considering it.

Quick poll: 1 or 2?

1. Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 42mm (black dial) in rose gold
2. Chopard Mille Miglia GTS 43mm (black dial) in rose gold

#1 But I'd prefer stainless.

I've never understood Chopards. Look like invictas. But I say that knowing full well it's only my opinion. It's pretty cool that we all see things differently. Speaking of, I keep running into people who don't like olives? How do you not like olives!?

LOL by the way I hate olives (but love olive oil)!

Chopard is class generally, but I do see why the Mille Miglia line has not exactly taken off... In-house movements though in the GTS iteration. I had 3 (yes, 3!) gens (2x XL and 1x GTS) in SS (not at the same time) and sold them all. But why did I keep buying them again?....

Really hope they rep the bracelets on the SS and TI, makes alot of difference to reduce top heaviness.

The bracelet (SS or Ti) is likely to be jangly and feel cheap. I have almost given up on rep bracelets, frankly. A stellar exception was the JJF Overseas bracelet which felt aa good as a gen. Possibly, the ZF + JF AP RO (and ROO) bracelets too.

I am now checking weekly for that long-awaited ZF FF 42mm release...

I think that is harsh, last few bracelets I have got are all fine, from ZF, APSF - that was full ceramic as well, OMF, VSF and also XF making the Pelagos in Ti also seems well made. I have good hopes for the Ti bracelet, if they do it, and not just in SS.

That's why I love this place. So many differing opinions. In my experience, the VSF 126610 bracelet (amazing as it may look) was like night and day compared to the gen in terms of feel. The XF v5 Pelagos bracelet was ok in terms of feel but then again the gen is not that impressive either. I recently handled a gen Pelagos of a friend and thought it was a rep! That bad... too sharp edges etc.

The ZF AP 15400 is (I am told) close to gen in terms of feel but it can always use some TLC from @legend :)

I have had a couple of Tudor gens and the bracelets were nothing special so not surprised. Even Rolex and Omega SS bracelets are just fine, and Nautilus ones are so simple and so light as to really undermine the Haute nature of the watch even if the puritans try to convince themselves that it is so light and comfortable! So I don't think gen bracelets are all that spectacular anyway - the all ceramic ones from APSF are on another level to them even if not quite up to par on the gen which is just fabulous, so I have hopes ZF can make a good bracelet, esp hope so in Ti.

too bad it has display caseback, else I would have hope for it to be repped too

Sure. A display back is never good news but the ZF 45mm FF was brilliant otherwise. Any idea anyone if ZF are contemplating putting together a FF 42mm soon? They must be? My AD just called me and they have a new 42mm (Ti) just in. I will go and check it out in the weekend and share views.

I don't get that the open caseback can be a deal breaker on a gen, I have gen APs and PPs and maybe look at the back once or twice a year, if I had a Datograph it would be more often I admit, and on a rep I never do, these are just reps, I just want them to look good on my wrist.

I agree, open caseback not a big deal for me as I'm not trying to pass it of as a gen.
