Dear all,

just announced the new PAM0662 with a brown dial.
Comes in steel with 47mm Radiomir 1940 case and new designed P.3000 movement.

Opinions welcome ...

Dr. Theo
P.S.: I see this one will hit the TD faster than the gen to be at the AD

it looks really nice and interesting but , again , makers will fail replicating the dial.....among other things...

622 case is really good and the makers has already proven that nice sausage dial can be done...
Anyway, I prefer 622 with it's sandwich dial.

.... but I have no idea how they will deal with the new designed movement? This could be a deal-breaker.

The new bridges of Gen P.3000 make more evident the gen gear train.

The NON-visible gear train of the P.3000 Clone was the more obvious tell of this rep movement. With the new bridges the rep movement will be much less accurate than current one

I like the new P.3000 because a visible movement should have gears and not just plates.
But for us is the old P.3000 betters

First version will come with old p3000 im sure. I hope they will get the color correct. It looks lighter then 390 for example.

Love the case but that MVT just doesn't look right in there.

The new movement will be a lot easier to reassemble with those smaller bridges, and those gaps between them.

I like this new 622, because RP engraving is closer to old gen from 1940. Hope makers will find this radium-burnt light brown dial color in workshop. This is much more sexy than the 587.

The new gen bridges are made to get a more complicated look for the more "simple" old P.3000
I don't agree with the new movement being easier to assemble than old one.
It is of course much more difficult to be repped, since more bridges are implicated to be fitted, and mainly because the gear train is more visible and rep movement has no gear train in this position.

I agree with memstar: Lighter brown colour of the dial is remembering the vintage radium burnt dials

The gen is a beauty and very much what the Paneristi were asking for. I have put my name down for a gen, along with a 663. With a 1000 run of each I'm confident I can get hold of both, but both will be in high demand based on the buzz over at p.com.

I prefer the 622 case. But I ******* love the color of this dial. If they get the color of the dial right on this rep I'd be stoked and go for the 663 instead or buy this dial and pop it in a 622

Dear All,

as I started this thread myself, I would like to see some update here.

The newly launched PAM663 and PAM662 have been released and the stock is slowly rolling into TD stalls for customers to pick them up.

Here is the first pic from P.com´s famous photo-talent Martin:

So now let´s hear your opinion and thoughts about it .... will we see this piece rep´ed any time soon?
Wonder why the factories are slower than normally ... happened to see the rep first before the gen released!

All comments welcome

To be honest I do have a recent affinity for panerai but I prefer to see a more refined piece like the 42mm or the newly announced slimmer designs.

Now I don't know the technical specs of this , but going off the aesthetics , This kind of looks a little bland to me and dare I say , nothing I haven't already seen from them before.
