New DSN 195 arrived

My new DSN 195 arrived about half an hour ago. First impressions very good. Would anybody know how i could put the straps myself? Or should i take it to a watchsmith?

i mean, place the strap to its position on the watch (connect it to the case)

hmmm... It's a very easy job just by removing the screws. Here is the article I posted on FAQ:

Thanks takashi, i didn't have the tool, i wanted to wear the watch, so i chose the quick way

I am trying, but the quality of the pictures is totally s**t. I 'm afraid i 'll have to improve my photo shooting first.

Get some spring bars from River, then you don't need any tools! :wink: Heck, I used a paperclip to change the strap on my 002B this week. 8)

The Pam 195 is a great watch. Congrats.


PS....buy a micro screw driver kit and you will be good to go for changing straps.

Flat drivers for most screws, and the x-headed drivers are perfect for cleaning out tube holes on new straps or straps that have quite a bit of skincheese in them (if you fancy used straps, that's gonna be a daily). Cost me 3 bucks.

If you're going to plat the "Panny" game, you REALLY need at least a 1.5mm screwdriver...Or a very patient watch maker friend!!...Go to Birdman's site over at the "Geeks" He'll hook you up right!!His "French" screwdriver set will be a good inexpensive start....
