Congrats. I've got two 089's myself (DSN and Cartel), that I'm in the process of taking apart to create an Uber 089 .

Be sure to take a few profile shots for us, please, so we can see what his new bezel looks like. Like these pics of a gen 086:

Also let us know what buckle he's including with his ti watches now. Last time I contacted him, he said that he no longer had the 24mm titanium logo buckles, so I'd like to see what he is using instead (or perhaps he just doesn't sell them separately any more).

Congrads on your new watch, i was thinking about getting that in the first place but i turn to pam 127 instead, which is yet to arrive. Dude, remember to check the watch in detail first can't really rely on the QC provided , hope it turns out alright~ [smilie=angel1.gif]

Well, a quick dash home to swap the strap that I had waiting on it and here it is:

I'll take some more detailed photos at home tonight, but my work camera is crap. I love the watch. It's a beauty. Everything is functioning great, just the rotor is a bit loud. I think it may just need to be tightened up. And Drulee, you were right! The case back is definitely etched, not engraved. More pics to follow

As far as I know, everything I've read, and the actual weight of the piece, it's definitely titanium. It is very light for its size.

I would never have thought to use that color strap, but seeing it on looks great! Very Italian, in the classic suave sense.

Good to hear that it arrived problem free. Regarding the loud rotor, it probably has nothing to do with tightening it up - if you are comfortable with opening up the case, I can post a link to a thread tells you one way of quieting it down. However, I like the sound and often flick my wrist a few times and put the watch beside my ear (kind of like a baby playing with squeaky toys) You may also get the occasional vibration, but this is all quite normal.

It looks like yours does indeed have his latest low profile bezel, way to go DSN. Did he include a couple of extra straps in the package? I know his straps may not be the best, but if they have 24mm titanium "logo" buckles attached, you will find them quite useful, plus they sell for $20-$25 each on the forums

He did throw in a couple of straps!! He's top notch. I've wanted a rubber strap and that's just what he threw in! I'll keep the ti buckle on it and the other 24mm is on my strap on the watch.

Some members have said that his rubber straps are prone to attract dust like a magnet would metal filings , so you may want to avoid wearing it in dusty environments Personally, I don't really like rubber straps, except for the one that was on my gen Hublot (it has really good texture to it), but I've got about 20 leather ones that I rotate among my watches
