New Daytona Panda keeps stopping

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help.

I recently received a Daytona Panda but the second hand at 6 keeps stopping when worn. It takes a tap on the crystal to get it going again.

However if left on a flat surface, it runs all day and night without any issues.

Does anyone know why this may be happening?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

Could be a loose hand...

When the hand stops is the watch still ticking?
If it is this may mean the hand isn't fitted tightly enough.

Does it stop if the chronograph is running too?

It could be the seconds at six hand is fouling the hour hand..if this is the case the watch would stop ticking....

If you hold the watch upside down (crystal to the floor) can you see the hand wobble/fall towards the crystal?

As it seems fine on a flat surface, seconds at six hand probably just needs better fitment.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I just opened the case and looked inside and a little piece has fallen out 😳

No idea what part of the movement it is, or if its important. I'll put some picks below. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure what that is, or if it's a broken part.
Will try and find an exploded diagram of a 4130.

Now it's out of the watch, if you put the back back on does it run correctly?

I think a photo probably will make it easier to find out, don't you think?

I’m going to guess that’s the decoration “stud clamp” from the balance bridge.

Can you take a picture of the balance?

There should also be a screw associated with that piece. That may be fouling something up in your watch.
Also that isn’t a true 4130 clone. Looks like a decorated 7750.

No , still doesn't run properly. Think I'm just going to send it away
@PsychoTee16 looks to have found your issue. Which quite frankly is amazing detective work.....

Here is a picture of a balance with that decoration in place...

Thanks for the help guys. It's incredible the knowledge you guys have on here. Really appreciated

I wonder if there is a loose part/screw in the balance wheel.
Please let us know the outcome when fixed.

Good luck

I just took the decorative plate off and a rogue tiny screw fell out from behind. Looks like that was the culprit. Must have been getting stuck when I was wearing the watch causing the 2nd hand to stop. Thanks so much for your help again guys @PsychoTee16
