Hi everyone, this is a thread about my just received custom 6154 build from black_shark. absolutely beautiful watch, the work he did on the dial was truly outstanding, using pics of a gen 6154 as reference and he managed to reproduce the radium burn rings on the dial right down to a T. i requested a swiss 6497 movement and a display caseback in order to show off the beautiful movement! the swiss movement really winds like butter, very soft and smooth unlike some of the asian movements in reps. both the caseback and front crystal are domed plexi, further adding to the vintage look and feel of it, and the domed plexi caseback is accurate to the gen vintage panerais that had a display back. anyway without further ado, here are some photos:

some shots of the dial and the vintage-looking aged gold hands:

a close up to show the aged texture of the dial:

some shots of the case, very very nice lines and curves on the 6154 case, absolutely love it

shot of the cool swiss movement with "hammered" decoration, makes the watch look rugged and machined imo:

and finally, a couple of wrist shots:

thanks so much Stefanos for this beautiful piece, and for all the other members here who have posted shots of their own vintage builds that provided me with the inspiration to order my own vintage build!
thanks for looking and i hope you enjoyed the photos! :)

Great looking watch, the dial is amazing, and I love the tall plexi!
Wear it in health :)
