a big improvement, but still not 1:1 of course.
but it's nice to see something new from them.

Nice... CG has some improvement (side profile) but hard to tell on actual items. Could still be too thin from the top.

Dial looks improved but the 12 and 3 look abit crooked (think and thick parts are not consistent).

cg is not flush to the case... so looks like an improvement, but not that great.
nice to see they went with a J, and therefore a rollerball cg lever, that's something
at least. but many of the old and common mistakes are still there.

if you ask me, this is not in the same league as the 288k, it's basically just a newer
version of the older H series, still needing lots of mods, etc..

and the movement doesn't look any better than a DSN movement, it's waaay off
from gen, so no matter what kind of work we do it'll still never come close.

oh well, at least we have something new to play with, bye bye H0035, woot.

yeah, the lugs look better, but there's a bunch of issues with the dial, the movement, the cg...

I guess it's an improved case... for close caseback projects, lol.

Looks pretty good to me. The bracelet option works rather well. Wondering though if the movement is Swiss or Asian.

what bugs me at first look:

the 3
the spacing of the LSWL still looks too close to the 6
the cg is not flush to case
the cg lever is sunken in the cg
the movement is way off, too bold OP name, wrong placement, wrong inc. shape, etc.

seems like there's a tell from every angle

what I like:
that it's a J series, caseback looks okay, not the best, but okay
the lume looks good
the case overall looks nice, good looking lugs
crystal seems to be fairly nice, AR looks okay, not bad

I saw a much better version of this a few weeks ago whether this is actually what is being produced I don't know but what I saw was much better.
Thinner engraving on movement Y cut out on swan neck.
I am not sure this is the same watch to be honest and it could be that it's from a different factory or the factory have just gone with that is easy available

this sounds very nice.
I like to hear that there's something out there with a proper incabloc
shape and with properly engraved lettering...
that's what keeps me away from H+ series pams.

What pictures! I don't have any I saw the watch with a factory rep. These people are not interested in posing for pictures!!!

When I have them for sale there will be plenty of pictures until then they hold little interest to me and maybe completely different from original sample I saw. Thats the way it is in the Rep world factories alter spec without any notice

Haha man things change on a whim. They source a new supplier of dials bc it saves them .50 cents which adds up.

Yes Coldi I can't count the amount of very good reps have been altered without notice and only come to light when members receive them and dismantle them.
It could well be that the new Cartel watch is the actual watch I saw some weeks age and this is the production model. I did order some of the samples I saw so if they are the same factory I will have in a few days. I usually get things 4-5 days later than the GZ dealers as they have to make it to Thailand

improved movement (now DSN quality asian)

improved lume
not sure about the AR, but it's probably better

so a step up, close to gen? no. but better from the cartel.
once Lay and Robert get it, the price should be even better.

To me the rollerball on the lever is a huge improvement, but the wrong tube can still be spotted from 2 meters away.
And of course, the poor movement engraving is still keeping me away from any Panerai with open caseback.

Nice. Still waiting on the rumor that the v1 HBB will also release a 111, but if that doesn't happen this isn't bad for only $200.

Looks like they've done improvements to the CdG on the movement. Too bad the txt sucks. Still overall much better than old version.
