New Carrera movement help/question

I recently purchased a Carrera w an A7750 automatic movement,when I cause the weight to rotate it has a slight abrasive sound and feel, wouild expect it to be smooth and not make any noise. Since this is my first I'm not sure if this is the norm or if it should be serviced?

tough to say without hearing exactly what you are talking about but some 7750's tend to be a bit loud and raspy. I have seen gens do the same thing.

Most likely is that the rotor is scraping the side of the movement easy fix open case and tighten the screw in the middle that holds the rotor.

Thanks, it is a scraping noise, I'll give that a try.

A lot of them make sounds. I have A7750s that are really quiet and some that are noisy when the rotor spins. Probably isn't a big problem, especially if it holds a full power reserve
