DuDro, that is one beauty! I wonder what the gen rubber strap and deployment costs at AD? I sure wish these rep companies would put stock into rubber first, especially on divers. Leather is too easy.

Brand similarity aside, it is nice imo. But I then again I own a couple of watches similar to other brands

I see similarities with regards to Tissot and Omega but this watch to me is still a Breitling. If you go back in time and view the earlier models they all tend to blend in because that was the look of the day. Simple, functional and somewhat unadorning. There is no mistaking the "SuperOcean" font and Breitling logo and to my eyes this a "Breitling" and nothing else. This opinion is from an Omega Fan. hehehe...

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. As an Omeeega fan, this is the only Breitling I've ever seen that I've even vaguely liked. Every other Breitling I've seen just screams out to me, "Damn! If only there were room for a kitchen sink on the dial!"

I saw this watch at an AD yesterday in New Orleans. I did not care for it and told the girl at the counter. She was stunned. I agree it looks too much like an Omega to me also. I however love my Omegas. I want a Breitling to look like a Breitling.

The problem is that a "Breitling" dial is super busy with chronos and slide rules and all manner of other crap that would be (for the most part) absolutely useless on a dive watch. There are other B's out there with pretty simple dials, like the SuperOcean Steelfish, the Colt, etc. I like this watch. My wife liked the 38mm version so much that I bought her the gen for Christmas. The mesh bracelet on the 38mm is FANTASTIC!

the one i saw at my ad was on a mesh bracelet. i tried on everything in the case except it and the ladies watches. the dial on a breitling is supposed to be busy. it is a pilots watch, if i want to go diving i will wear one of my seiko monsters. lol :lol:
