I'd pass on this one. The thing I like about the Breitlings is... well, I'm having trouble putting my finger on it, but I REALLY like the BCE. I like the SFSO also, just not as much (but I have both).. but I'd prefer my UPO to this. That's not to say this isn't a great watch, it just doesn't represent what I like about Breitlings...

My sentiments exactly. When you say Breitling you don't exactly picture a sub. It's usually a busy looking watch with millions of functions that you probably won't use but looks cool. :wink:

I very much like the mesh band, but the watch itself looks too much like the offspring of a Lolex and an Omeeega. I prefer my Breitlings busy and full of functions I never use. :lol:

They look even better in person than in the pics. They are too big for me, but I think they are one of the best looking in the current lineup.

Yeah, I agree. Too much Omega/Rolex look in this one. Even the bracelet on the blue one is very much vintage Omega Seamaster-style.

Good looking watch though, but not very original or "Breitlingesque".

SFSO, Bentley, etc are all "too busy"

you know what I mean? I like subtle elegance, subtle bling if you will

this has a nice 'understated' (if you can call it that) appeal and I know for sure I got my eyes on the blue one..

Yes, its based on the original SuperOcean, but IMO it draws much more influence from the Planet Ocean than it's own relative. Note the shape of the 3 & 9 markers, the orange version, size. I'm not denying that the heritage, but I'm positive that this model has been rehashed to capitalize on the success of the PO.
