Hi guys,
I am new to this forum, but I've been a member of TRC for awhile now.
Last weekend, I had a chance to visit Vegas and tried on some genuine Breiting Navitimers.
It was absolutely stunning. I am not usually into "sporty & busy" watches like this, but
it was really something. When I was playing with the chronograph, I noticed that when resetting it
the big hand jumps (slides?) right back to the 60 position. Amazing.
I would like to purchase a rep preferably with Black or Navy dial with leather strap.
My only concern is that most reps use Asian 7750 B1 movements (I hear
that there was a recent upgrade to this movement and maybe it's not called B1).
How are they holding up? Is it still risky like the ones used in Rollie Datona?
If the lifespan is less a year, I'd rather not take the risk. Also, I do not plan on servicing the movement.
Please let me know. Thank you guys, and I browsed through this section this morning, and I really
enjoyed the pictures you guys posted of the Navitimer. I do not have the "trained" eye for spotting
the differences, but they looked so real in terms of quality.
Joe.
