Just received my first Pam and I am pumped to get another rep to add to my watch rotation.

Overall, I'm pleased with the construction and the watch feels fantastic.

I have a quick question about the watch face and I hope the other board members can chime in with their opinion. When I look at the face, there is a bit of discoloration below the hands. I looked at the qc pics, but they weren't focused enough on this spot to tell if the discoloration was present there or not.

My question: is this to be expected from a rep or should I contact the dealer and ask about an exchange?

Thanks in advance!

I can really empathise with the QC teams now... It is really hard to get the phone camera to focus on the dial. I tried another pic.

If you still don't see it, I guess hypothetically, there is a small visible discoloration about 2cm long, pretty narrow. About the width of a pencil mark. Is that CODB or worth bringing up to the TD?

Depends how noticeable it is IRL. Sure it's not just dirt that can be cleaned? If not, I would ask TD to send a replacement dial. I wouldn't risk sending it back to China.

I can see it,but its v faint.. Good luck getting a spare dial from your dealer. I have tried a number of times to get parts sent back to me here in UK to avoid the cost and delay of sending watches back to China and no joy, its always same response, please send watch back for repair.....At your cost! I would imagine the mark is from the hands being attached and is the metal being rubbed on the dial, it might be possible to clean/rub off??

It's so faint. i'd try a local watchsmith if he can dye or disguese/hide it a bit.

It's worth trying something locally first. Please let us know how you get on!

Maybe pull the movement out and use a fine micro fiber towel to wipe away at the area of concern. might be as simple as that
