I have had this for 6 months and I have worn it 0 times outside, only slapped on my wrist a few times to admire it. I love this watch very much and even bought two custom made Camille Fournet straps to pair it. However I have concluded I simply don't have any occasion to wear it, and I would rather let someone else enjoy this stunning piece.
This watch comes with a custom shiny dark brown round-scale alligator Camille Fournet strap. For those who don't know, Camille Fournet is a Paris-based strap maker renowned for providing high-quality accessories to watch collectors worldwide. Their bespoke offerings are quite popular, and they also supply stock straps directly to manufacturers, they produced straps for Patek Philippe for many years, so this strap is as close to the original as you can get.
I have handled the gen a few times, on the wrist this is basically the same watch. I also had the 3kf before and think the zf is way superior. Dial proportion, dial printing, case shape, gold plating hue, crystal all to zf.
The rotor is silenced by my local modder, added some grease. When I got it, it was spinning like a helicopter, now the spinning sound was reduced by almost 90%.
* Please note there is 1 screw missing inside the officer caseback, my TD mistakenly sent me 2 SS screws as a replacement instead (I will include in this sale). He will send me an extra gold screw when the factory supplies it to him, I will then send it to whoever buys this watch. The caseback is very firmly secured with 3 gold screws on currently.
This custom strap is made specially to gen specs of the 5227r oem strap, strap length is 105/70mm, so big wrist folks beware!!
