It was necessary to make the central hand a date with 31 dots in a circle, and place the minutes as a digit in the window, and then there would definitely be the most senseless layout.

I was excpecting a 44mm bronzo for a loooong time... for this ??
At least that means Panerai may release other 44mm bronzo's layouts.

In fact, since panerai has been making destro for 20+ years, while rolex has changed the color of the inserts, I have already become quite used to the reverse of the date on the dial, and for me personally this is not such a "pattern break" as for fans of this brand, JayBee0815 .
