New 112M - Looks great, won't "turn on" (Fixed now)

I cant think of the right word, but I just got my shiny new 112M, gave it a wind and nothing, not ticking.....

Anything I should try? I wound it 10 or so times at first, nothing, then thought that maybe it wasn't wound enough so gave it another 10, etc

Felt a little bit of resistance so I stopped but nothing so far.

This thing looks and feels great but I'd love for it to work....

Edit: I had tried the palm hits but guess I was too gentle, two decent pops and we are off and ticking...

Had the same issue, a couple of bangs on your palm, worked for mine, moves a bit of dust. Gool Luck.

Thanks man! I was being a baby with the taps, moved up to "bangs" and she worked
