I just received a new Noobfactory 111M, and I'm quite happy with it although, there is a mark on the movement next to the engraving and the Crown Guard must have been mega slack as it fell off, screws and all while I was wearing it and are lost.
If anyone has a CG & screws for sale, I'm in EU and would like to hear from you.
I have contacted the dealer but I'm not holding my breath. I won't name them, but it's strike 3 and out for these guys since it's my 3rd purchase and 3rd major malfunction with limited/no use.

you're supposed to check all screws and tighten as necessary upon arrival of all reps...its quite common they are loose.

Put up a WTB request or contact the modders here in the forum. Maybe they can help.

FWIW whatever the dealer, it's always worth checking the tightness of CG screws (and bracelet screws where appropriate) when the watch arrives. They're often slacker than they should be...

+1

A jewellers screwdriver set should be bought from a local shop at the same time as your first rep!

I posted this up on WC the other day day and I think it applies here.

"the purple" is were it's at for ALL you watch screws you don't want to loosen but still remove later, including strap screws!

A contrary opinion...>>

IMNSFHO, it should be incumbent upon ANY dealer selling ANY watch to ship it in "wear ready" condition!!!
Once we force them to start "paying attention to business" by having the mods pressure them to replace a few lost CG's, this ridiculous problem will disappear!!
How would YOU like to buy a new car with a set of loose lug nuts...???....And how loud would you be screaming at your dealer when a wheel fell off..???
I realize that these are reps, but c'mon folks......How much time does it takes for a dealer to check a pair of CG screws..??

If there were replica cars dealers we would all be in for some crashes.

Everyone relax. He'll get his CG fixed up, and everyone go support your local hardware store and get some "purple"

Jackal, are you going to post a review in the Trusted Dealer Buyer Reviews Section? It helps all of us to read the good and bad.

I'm tempted. I wrote to them to tell them what happened and they then asked for photos of the watch which i sent. They then replied to say "yes we'll give you one, just log onto our site and buy it then pay postage"
WTF???
I told them to forget it. I won't use them again. QC is obviously non-existant.

What did they want you to buy on their site, a whole new watch? I never saw a replacement CG on a site...

I don't see one on their site either but here is the email word for word
"dear friend
regarding your panerai watch problem. you need pay for a new crown . then we will ship to you. you pay postage

regards"

I deleted the name at the end. Just FYI, the 1st watch was a Rolex GMT which was pretty much DOA- stopping and starting and after 2 weeks just stopping, had sticky links, loose screws, grinding crown threads. I sent it for a service which was £110 but well worth it- it runs great now. I did contact them and they said I should return it to China at my expense.
2nd watch was a Panerai 111j which seemed OK at first although the strap was poor quality and had to buy a new one. After 2 months, the spring broke and it now has no power reserve. Luckliy I have managed to salvage the CG for my new watch (which also has a mark on the movement.
