new 111 from Josh and a question

Specifically the last picture with the engraved movement (proper font, proper font size)

It appears to be the really nice engraving version that EL had on his 1950.

It doesn't have the right shaped regulator needle though.

My question is - could you transplant the proper regulator needle into this movement? It would be perfect!

it doesn't appear to be a working swan neck. the arm isn't touching the dagger. the dagger is the wrong shape. i am unsure if it can be changed to "look" correct. it also appears the l swiss l is too close to the no. 6 hour marker.

I think one of the upcoming new davidsen dials would cure that last issue (I hope).

dunno about the functioning swan neck, I can't tell from the pics but you might be right!.

Maybe I just swap the engraved bridges

Maybe I just swap the engraved bridges

davidsen's dial won't fit the case because they are a different size. maybe a mod job would work???

davidsons dials will fit they just need a bit of trimming down with the Dremel.
