Never been so happy with a pam

So....

I've gone thru a couple pams, my first being a 196. Followed shortly after with 111, 117, 356, and 288k. I sold all of them after a week or so. I liked them but they weren't getting wrist time over my AP crack. Then I saw the 372 on the forums at first I felt meh just another pam. Fast forward a month and I see the gen on a wrist at a restaurant in Manhattan. It was stunning!!!! I came home that day researching the 372 and noticed there were 2 versions. Realizing both had their high points and flaws I said screw it whatever mint one comes up first on m2m vs ordering with a TD. I gave it in 1 week window and sure enough one popped up.

I started researching straps while waiting for the watch to show up on m2m. I first thought about exotic skins and came to the realization that the 372 just isn't a watch for such skins. Luckily the day after I bought the watch SNPR had a strap available. Once again I got lucky and it was Horween leather exactly what I was itching to try.

Onto to pics!! Sadly I tried to fit into a hole that was a bit tight and left the mark when I struggled to take the watch off:facepalm:. I like this leather but it just marks up so easy

It is nice indeed! Congrats!

May I ask what kind of buckle is that? Looks torched. Did it come with the strap? Love it!

It's a fire kissed buckle. It's available from SNPR

That watch is too big for you.

Actually I think it's just fine. My wrist is pretty much a little over 6.5 and I am fairly built guy so it's all good.

Agree.

I'm at 7" and "built" or not, anyone at my size or below needs to limit themselves to 44mm width max.

Need at least 7.5" to even begin thinking about pulling off a 45mm or higher width to look right.

Love the 372, but don't own one for that exact reason. Forbidden fruit unfortunately.

If you think it's not for you, then it's not for you. Personally, the PAM372 fits my 6.25" wrist just fine. Since it sits lower than say my 44mm PAM243, it actually fits my wrist better. In the end, to each his own. To the OP, very nice combo you got there. Where did your strap come from?

I always felt the shape of your wrist is just as important as the measurement of your wrist. As another user posted this pam does sit better due to it's flatter case back. It feels more comfortable compared to the 44m pams I have had and does not wear as high either even though it is a bit thicker.

Per the strap, the strap is a Horween Cxl from SNPR. Amazing work tbh. In terms of the exotic skins. @Polonus that looks good but what I was look at didn't look as good. Although, I will most likely purchase the below strap soon. The horween one is nice but it is very thick and not going to fit under my jacket/coat sleeve come chillier days.

[...]Sadly I tried to fit into a hole that was a bit tight [...]

I share your struggles!!!! Next time try vaseline... :p

Dude you are making me want that watch!

Looks great, don't worry about ppl telling you it's too big for you!
As I always say, shape, condition, fat % and vascularity all play their role... It ain't ALL about size and proportions!

Enjoy it and wear it well!

I believe few people actually notice watches, but as I was sitting in a restaurant last month, within 30 minutes two guys commented on my 372 as they passed. The strap is a green drab French army rifle sling and it is my favorite over some really nice gens and reps. Love its simplicity and clean look. No subdials, no trash to mess it up. Just a beauty Wish I could show you
