Hallo zusammen,

ProfSpiritus

Dear Neuling,

Welcome to the rep-world and RWI where almost everything is possible indeed and your rep-fever will sure be kept on a high temperature.
You will be able to find many great versions of the submariner you like and rather to refer you to one particular one I urge you to take some time reading this forum and select one TD for your first purchase. With your selected TD you should discuss which Submariner would be the best for you. Please don't be mis-guided by a $20 or so difference between TD's for watches as these differences mean nothing and it all evens out in the end in terms of shipping, service otherswise. Building a relation with TD's will open doors to you when you need someone later on.

Too bad you don't really care for its movement and just for looks. If that's so you might be good with a cheap quartz watch but something tells me you will start to develop interest in mechanical movements sooner rather than later.

Also, I appreciate your German post and you will find many fellow country folks on this forum but please try your posts, replies in English so your audience will be ten-fold...or bigger!

Anyway, Welcome again dear friend and buckle up for the (joy)ride ;)

Thank you for your warm welcome. I will follow your advice for sure.
However, you may have misread my message in regards to technical movements. Clearly I have an interest to understand it as it represents the heart of a watch. Any advice where to start to get deeper technical knowledge of a sub replica? Thanks.

Check in here my friend.

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=143458

Take your time reading and understanding your submariner here. Once you are able to make an educated decision you could then select your TD here and ask them to get you this watch.
Even if they don't show this watch on their website (if they even have a website) they can still source it for you.

Approach your TD by PM to ensure they will get your message. Some aren't on this site every day.
Be patient with your order in the end. I understand you will want it asap once you placed your order but somethings take a bit of time and be kind to your TD (and fellow members). This is an awesome community.

Have fun.

Show us some pics when you have received your watch and I'm curious to hear your experience of the process (from placing order to opening the package).
