How'd you get the patina on the 009 to get that way. It is David Sen's I'm assuming. Did you use cape cod?

hey eddy..BINGO! i used cape cod..
i found davidsen's pvd a lil too thick and rough, so i tried to polish it with a normal polishing cloth but to no avail..so out came the cape cod and after a few quick swipes...
be careful not to overdo it tho..i realised that the colour and finishing doesn't change when u're polishing it..but the patina will become very obvious after rinsing the watch under runing water..i'm lucky i did the polishing cautiously, else i'd end up with a 009 which looks as tho it had seen 10 years of coninuous wear..

novesh - great idea to get a ti, a ss and a pvd...but try to have a base in the mix, they're awesome!

i did the switch on purpose as i see the pam009 as a superior rep, so i put the thicker, heavier caseback with sharper engravings (the b series case back) on it and the lighter davidsen pre-v case back on the 001..who cares about accuracy? i just wanna enjoy my watches..
