Howdy fellas,

I am having a issue with my 2 year old 111M. It has been gaining and losing time, enormous amounts of time, like 20min a hour at times. After the stink dissippated from my brain fart, I relized its the hour hand thats swinging back and forth LOL, with the movement of my arm and struggling with gaining after the 15min mark and slowing down from the 30 to 45 minute mark (follow me?)
I have to imagine someone in my family dropped my PAM recentley and didn't tell ole Grandpa Grumpy. Anyway jmb set the watch up on his timeographer and it's working great. Amplitude and shit is great. 18000 beat though, damn thats SLOW.So, It's NOT A MOVEMENT ISSUE....I repeat NOT A MOVEMENT ISSUE. We can clearly see the hour hand barely on and needs pressed back onto the cannon so, does one release the stem, unscrew the mounts and take the movement out like a Rolex or Omega? jmb said, "I can do it, but aint "DONE" it so figure it out, lemme know and I'll fix it next time your over hanging out at my shop and talking my head off you ASSWHIP"
I joke, he was nicer about it than that :p

Thanks for the help

P.S. I am a one PAM man and this 111M H Factory has been a KILLER rep from day one....absolutely killer..so noobs, take notice. These PAM reps are wicked indeed IMO

Yup. You release the stem by turning the stem release screw no more than 1 full turn counter clockwise. Unscrew the tabs. Pop the movement out. You'll probably have to remove the minute hand first, then press the hour hand back on and set it to 12. If it's still lose, the messy solution might be to put some medium loctite on the hour hand. Is that kosher with watchsmiths here? It's the only thing I can think of.

If the hand is still lose when try to push it back on the hour cannon. Just put the little tube of the hand gently in a pin vice and tighten it gently.. No glue or loctite, then you will not be able to disassemble it for service in the future without destroying the hand..

minute hand moving freely would likely be a loose cannon pin ... you need to press the cannon pin so it "bites" the first wheel tighter ... you make need a staking tool for that or a steady hand with a flat chisel (NOT SHARP) to "tighten" the cannon pin ...

hope this helps
