Hit search, but nothing was coughed up, so I am asking my fellow PAM freaks:

Where can I buy those "springbar" type screws for Luminor watches, which are invaluable if your watch has worn threads in the lugs?

Vaguely I recall someone mentioning River selling them, but I would prefer someone Stateside, if at all possible.

TIA!!

Thanks, you guys!

I will email him and inquire about the price. If someone could shoot me a PM saying what price I should expect to pay, I would be awfully grateful. :)

JB and HK, thank you both so much. This is what makes being on this forum such a treasure -- immediate and helpful tips. :)

To think I was going to pay USD 35 for two on *bay! Sheesh. Thanks!!

If you use internationalwatchman Ron is not good with communication.
Shipping can take a while sometimes. Credit Card given by telephone or email (dont ever do that please!!)
He is a good guy. Spent many hours talking with him on telephone. If you have ever talked to him, you know
what I mean.

My only order from them went smooth. But talking with them was a bit of, how you say... struggled.

i have never dealt with those guys but as we all know river is hard to beat and is really a great guy on top of that. when i got them from him i ordered 2 packages and that was enough to do 4 watches. i just read his ad for these and it looks like you can mix the sizes also.

River's spring-bars for Panerai are wonderful! They make strap-changing a breeze. Buy enough for all your watches - you won't regret it. They are availabe for 24 and 26, lugs, but not, sadly, for Panerai buckles.

River's spring-bars are a 1:1 replacement for the original screw-and-tube set. Here is a comparison pic, spring-bar on the right, screw and tube on the left.

Note the damage to the original screw head and thread...
