Need some strap advice for Pam 448

Hi guys! I just received my Pam 448 with the p3000 superclone movement, and it's a truly amazing rep, looks great in pretty much every aspect down to the little details like the engraving on the movement and the watch itself, the vintage cavity-filled lume and the incredibly nice plexi!

anyways, i recently acquired 2 OEM 27mm straps, the ranger strap, which is the oem strap that the gen 448 comes with, and a 27/24 MX calf gold strap with the sewn-in mx buckle that comes with a gen 249/232, and i was just wondering which strap you guys think looks better on the 448 as i'm having trouble deciding between the 2, each has their pros and cons:

I always liked the calf gold, and I really think the bigger mx buckle looks more balanced on the 47mm case as compared to the normal 22mm buckle, as well as the fact that it kinda makes the 448 look more like the 249, but the MX strap itself is a bit short as it is the old 115/75 length. On the other hand, while I'm a bit unsure on the the ranger strap's color, is the newer 125/75 length so on my wrist it looks a bit nicer cos there's more tail on the strap as compared to the MX strap. But i mostly just need advice on which colour strap you guys think matches the watch/dial best out of the 2

i suggest a nubuck croc strap
black or gold would look great!

haha thanks for that mate but I was actually asking for advice between the 2 straps i've got, but I will take your suggestion into consideration!

haha thanks mate. i swing back and forth on both the straps. when i put on the ranger i feel like putting on the mx and vice-versa. guess i gotta wear either for a few days and see which i like best huh?

I like the pale colour strap. It matches the tones of the train track on the face better IMO.

I got this one recently and am just waiting for a GFP buckle to suit.

I actually like the colour of the rep strap a lot, it's darker than the oem ranger. I suggest getting someone to make a strap for you, panerai straps tend to patina terribly.

a colour like the pav91 is perfect for this. Ask orloff for his burgundy leather.

really? cos mine came with the darker rep strap and it looks pretty much spot on to the colour of the OEM ranger strap. but of course quality-wise it's miles apart!

oh yea i've heard lots of good things about orloff straps, will check his stuff out! but right now after getting these 2 oem straps i'm a bit short on funds soooo i'll have to choose between these 2 straps i've shown for the time-being. decisions decisions!

that looks pretty good! and hey always nice to meet a fellow aussie on the forums mine came with the rep ranger-ish strap, and i too thought the lighter strap matched the dial and markers better, but after putting on the oem ranger and then the mx, i'm really torn btwn the 2 now haha. talk about first world problems

This is not the same PAM model, but here is my 388 with a Simona gator dark burgundy. This might help you with what a different pattern looks like after some wear.

The rep one. I'm waiting for my 26/26 vintage strap to arrive, gonna see how that goes.

It's funny. First there was watches, then they had to have upgraded strap, then buckles...now with the 448 I need old school vintage buckles. What next?
