Need some help looking for a good PAM177

Hello!

I want to buy a Panerai and I like the PAM177..

But the thing is that I've read the post from DAYTONA4ME where it says that the 177 titanium case is not a good watch..

That thread is like 18 months old. I think you will find that the quality has improved considerably. I don't own a 177 (yet!) but I've read recent reviews and they are good.

D4Me's thread refers to the 177 that was available some time ago. The version you've pictured (which is out of stock with most dealers, but should be available again soon) is a new version and a MUCH better watch in every respect. The case is extremely close to gen.

I'm new on Panerai reps and I'm a little bit lost with all the models.

This will be my first Panerai rep and I don't want to make a bad choice..

I also like the PAM111J at a lower price

but I'm thinking that the PAM177L it's a better choice...

So I guess I'll go for the PAM177L and the PAM286J .

If someone has any suggestions I'll be happy to see them.

caseback and possibly the crown is not as close to the case.

I do hope they can put a high beat 6497-2 movement.

I am actually building a PAM 177L from parts. So far I have a homage lumed by ziggy. I have a DSN dial coming as well as a 177L caseback and nice vintage brown leather strap. As soon as I can I am sending it to one of the modders for CP upgrade, waterproofing, regulating and service.

I am sure most remember that I posted it FS a little while back but decided to keep it. Here it is again.

I personally would rather build one.
