So I recently bought a yachtmaster off of the reptimebst page. Watch came in and I immediately heard a rattle in the case back. I thought that maybe the weighted rotor screw needed to be tightened so I opened up the back. What I found was half of a broken screw and the weighted rotor hangin out having a beer 🍺. Here’s the dilemma, the other half of the screw is still threaded into the watch as well as the ball bearing assembly. There are 3 screws that appear that if they’re taken out I can remove the bearing assembly and then attempt to remove the screw…..but I’m not sure! Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated from the masters on this page. EWF yachtmaster 3235 movement

Quite often a broken screw and be backed out by nudging and rotating it with tweezers. I had one recently where I used a hardened steel needle point pressed firmly into one side of the screw while turning the movement on my bench to back the screw out. A worst case scenario is a disassembly and using alum to dissolve the broken screw.
