Need some advice on change of dial

I'm planning to for my next purchase from davidsen, probably something in a 45mm radiomir case. However I think of changing the dial. In this case, should I be looking at the dials for the 44mm or the 47mm? I cant seem to find dials to fit the 45mm radiomirs..

Thanks Enzo. What about those vintage marina militare dials, do they come in sizes to fit the 45mm? I like the look of the 3646 MARINA MILITARE WATCH from Davidsen very much, but the I prefer it in a 45mm case and swiss movement.

i'm with you

i really wish we could petition our dealers to offer:

1. 44mm luminor with only marina militare dials (unbranded)

2. 44mm mini fiddy with only marina militare dials

3. 45mm radiomir / 3646 with only marina militare dials.


47mm is nice, i own them, but there a bit huge. and with the above, you're not wearing a rep--you're wearing a custom watch, which is nice. i've seen enough demand on this forum, that i'd hope our dealers would take notice...though i know davidsen is quite busy bringing us the wonderful vintage, upgraded dials, and other goodies.

in the end, i wish all those 47mm watches would be offered in 44/45mm sizes as well. for wrist challenged.

Yes Panman I totally agree with you. I just got a PVD 111 and I changed to a unbranded dial with unbranded crystal back. It's like a custom watch like you say.. Absolutely cool...

The vintage look of the 3646 is so attractive.. that I'm staring at them everyday..

Yes I know our dealers is busy with the already fanstanstic offerings.. we either have to wait patiently or just buy the 47mm 3646 first to satisfy my desire for now...
