A friend of mine was just given a gen 104 for being a top salesperson. It's a beautiful watch. I prefer the 104 because of the traditional Pam dial. I think the 164 looks too busy IMHO. As I tell a lot of people, you are only risking the difference between what you spend and what you can sell it for here on the forum.

Any comment on the one at trusty and the gen?

Any ideas where I can get a nice strap similar to the one you are using for your avatar?

I would also look at the 104 from Davidsen. It will have good lume and it is listed with the 28.8 asian 7750 with a price of $280. His quality will be first rate. It is shown on his RWI dealer page but not on his website.

The strap is a genuine Pam antique brown gator I found on the Paneristi site. I get asked about it a lot.

I inquired with Davidsen about building a fantasy watch with the 104 dial and hands in a titanium automatic case. That would be my dream version of the 104. He said that was possible.

Hi Optimis9, a excellent choice of PAM's. I have the PAM104 with stainless steel bracelet and it is truly a fine looking watch. Either model will look 'bloody marvellous' and it certainly is a difficult decision to choose one over the other! Go with your first impressions!! GOOD LUCK!
