Need Opinions: eBayer with PAM023A

OK, I'm thinking this is too good to be true, so I have to throw it out there to the experts.....

This guy is selling a PAM023A GMT for $2600??? This is a watch that I've been looking for over the years. Let me know your honest opinion....Gen or Rep? I've asked him for sticker info on outside of box.

The crown and CG look pretty good. Tough to tell with his crappy, small pics. Date font would be the biggest "tell", so ask him for some shots of that.

EDIT -- Sketchy feedback, most of it is from sellers, not buyers. Too bad this isn't 6 mos ago, I'd still be working in Columbus and I could take a look at it for you.

Is it just me or is the "L Swiss Made L" too close to the 6? I need to find a gen pic to compare....

I checked against the gen pics on Paneristi and the Swiss Made ID is pretty much right on the 6. Interesting??

...please do not take offense to this comment but if it is so hard to tell the diff. between the GEN and a REP...why not just buy a rep? If its that close i would rather spend 300 bucks on a rep and take the other Lump some of cash and take a vacation or something...mabey thats just me though? -ck

Man.....research my name and gen vs. rep posts. I could go on for hours with my psychiatrist over this conflict, but I chose to go on hours with my RWI mates re the issue. Arrrgggghhhh

when someone sells a pam and only post photos that are hard to tell, due to the angles and bad focus, if it is a gen, do not buy. If someone is selling a gen they photo the glaring things like the dial fonts and CGs head on and the back case so there is no doubt. Buy a Davidsen and buy $3400 of lottery tickets as a better deal. This one, as said, is too good to be true.

Closure

To give this thing some closure, here is the response from the eBay Member who said he was ripped off by this Seller. He's a cool guy to let me know....

I'll be perfectly honest with you ...do not trust this guy one bit. I
bought a Panerai watch from him back in January for $2000
wired the money as per his instructions which at the time looked
very strange for the beneficiary was a Russian name and I
eventually found out the money went into a Russian account.
Anyway paid the money , he maintained he never received it. I
sent him proof from my bank that the money had been received
by this Russian bank, then nothing, no contact nothing. I filed a
complaint with ebay but they basically cannot do anything but
they will contact him. He then out the blue sends an email
thanking me for my payment and advising the watch will be sent
via Fed Ex. Again no tracking numbers nothing, and then the
watch which I supposedly bought is put back on ebay. I email in
regard to this but nothing again. This guy is a conman and a
fraud. Do not trust him.......Hope this helps you make up your
mind. Im still trying to retrieve my 2 grand...Rgds
