i am thinking about buying either the navitimer datora OR the navi gmt. i love the navitimers, but i think 42 mm might be a little too small for me a now a days. all my watches are are 43-44mm or bigger. so ive narrowed it down to these 2 models and what i heard about the gmt is that it could have movement problems since the 7750 was modified for the gmt function, BUT the datora also has alot of complications as well. so any help on deciding between these 2 models would be greatly appreciated.

***the gmt measures around 46-47mm & the datore around 44mm***Wichever one i get it will be white.

Hi italiano. Did you check the Guide? They have both been reviewed by members. Maybe those could help you to make the final decision?

i did bytor, but alot of you reviews are links to sites i am not a member of. i think the gmt review is only a link to TRC. if you have any input it would be greatly appreciated. :D or even your opinion.

edit: both reviews are links to TRC and im not a member there anymore.

I also have been losing alot of sleep trying to decide between the two and like you, i prefer a white dial watch.
To my knowlege the Datora (my favorite) has only been reviewd once, and the Navitimer world only a few times also. So bottom line is very little information from owners is avaiable. By the way Ruby has the Dator on leather for 319$ shipped !!! yeah Baby !!!!!!

I'll toss my .02cp on here in defense of the GMT befuddled 7750
I am a huge fan of GMT movements on wrist watches. I own several 7750 based GMT movement Pams (I really haven't found a breit that *speaks* to me yet..) and have over the course of several monthes... two watches nearing a year of pretty routine use... have yet to have any issues with the GMT modded 7750's...

I've honestly had more trouble with an ETA 2836-2 GMT mod than any 7750 movement at all...

But that being said... I may just have had luck on my side with the 7750's... Stick with the 28.8k bph version of the 7750 and you should be good... ship it off for service if you plan on using the watch for several years.... Ziggy services them and has spoken pretty highly of the 7750 movement in general... and as I've already stated, I own several GMT modded 7750s and have yet to have any trouble with them.
