Need Help with question about Pam 448

I just bought my father a Pam 424 ZF and I like it so much... I have been thinking that maybe I would like to own a cali dial.... maybe the Pam 448.
BUT .... I don't now if it's my eyes or what but I can't see there is a difference between the 424ZF and the 448 SF ... I know there is a difference... but... I can't put
my finger on it.

what is it ? Is it the bezel ? The 448 has that more vintage look with the blue hands.... and... supposedly the more rounded corners on the case ( according to ALE)
But for some reason... I can't really see it.

what am I missing here... I have been sitting and looking at pictures back and forth between the 2 and I just cannot see what the real differences are.

- Unique Edition 2012 initially of 750 pcs (It was actually 500)
- Plexi crystal

ALE ! thanks for telling me. BUT ! what I want to know.... is there ANY difference between the case and the bezel of the 424 and the 448 ?
I know you said in your Pam reference guide. that the Pam 448 from the SF factory was the one to get... if you were buying a 448.

so..... Is that STILL ... at this date.... the one to get ?

the 424 is a gift to my father.... so I have it in my hands right now but looking at the 448.... aside from the differences you mentioned....... is there ANY
difference between the cases and the bezels of the 424 and the 448 ?

Case and bezel are essentially the same.
Sapphire and plexi will have a slightly different profile.

Hi thanks for your post. I am hoping that ALE comes back again and contributes.

So... the bezel and the case are the same you say ? I know from looking at the pictures that they look to be kind of the same.... but are they ?
on the 448 ...the bezel looks to be flatter sort of and wider and the case looks to be a little rounder..... BUT !!!

this might just be an optical illusion to me. it may be the same case and the same bezel.... I just can't tell.

so is the plexi more domed than the sapphire ? is that what the difference is ?

anyway.... I would like to get to the bottom of this to know for sure if they are using the same case and bezel for the 448 and the 424.
maybe someone who owns both can chime in here.

thanks for the link.... I have seen that but it doesn't tell me if the case and bezel are the same.... unless I missed it in the article somewhere.
