Dsn crown is thick so current tube won't work on my 111j. Crown won't even go in with the tube out. What is the best course of action? Have to obviously make the crown tube hole bigger but once I do that the current tube won't work. What do you all suggest doing?

Hello!

I am such a builder that perhaps my opinion should be considered last:(.
I realized that the hole in the case is so small that even without the tube the Crown does not go through it?

In any case, the only thing I can show is my situation, although the case is different, and the Crown, although the DSN is titanium, also did not fit into the standard tube, and it looked like this:
But when I bought a crown from DSN, in the kit he gave a completely thin tube to replace the current one:
(New left, old right)

As a result, after the replacement, the Crown stood up normally, although the hole without the tube seemed hardly enough to accommodate something:

I don't know what your original parts look like, but it seems that with such a thin tube (assuming that your Crown has the same geometry), you can expand the hole in the case (if necessary) and place it there, only as a stop for sealing, although the Crown will henceforth sit directly on the case, with no visible gap.

I'm sure someone who does this on an ongoing basis can help better, but just showed how I solved a similar issue in my case.

Indeed, you have likely got his pre V that's recognizable by the double o-ring on the crown neck. Crown works with a specific tube.

This is the tool I used to enlarge the tube hole for it to fit back in the days

Thanks man. Do you know the mm or diameter of the bit?
